Bear with me when everything is a mess on the site – I’ve worked with websites before, but since it’s been more than a decade since I last dived into WordPress sites, it’s safe to say that my skills are a little rusty. The whole WordPress platform changed a lot the last ten years or so, from an easy customizable sandbox theme to many little wysiwyg blocks that can be moved hazardously round at random.
I have a lot of content planned for this blog, particularly gear lists and itineraries for family hiking, but also writings about other out experiences for kids and where to start, if you want to dip your toes in the whole camping with kids concept, whether you’re a seasoned outdoors person, who aims to integrate family life into hiking, or you’re totally green and your primary experience with camping is whatever you were made to do back in primary school, and survival shows on TV.
It’s important to note that I am by no means an outdoor expert, I just enjoy the whole process and am passionate about sharing our experiences with others. And a blog makes a planning far more comprehensible, than listing various gear and routes on top of your head at playgrounds, while the kids are feeding each other and you sand.
I’ve talked with a few friends and family about this site and what I planned for it, and for now I plan to write in English, but that may change to Danish depending on the readers 🙂
